My little 4 banger running 35's just got a whopping 16 miles to the gallon.:D

Thats sweet I have always considered anything above 10mpg acceptable for me to drive but the more the better. When I had my FSJ it got 16mph with 33's and a 360 V-8 that was with some highway 3.31 gears though. That was the best 4x4 I have ever had on gas.

how did you manage that. need more details(what mods, gearing, etc)

ummmm..... I think it's the 4.88 gears that do it. everything else that's on it i don't think would help gas mileage.

16 MPG???? I could not get that being tailored down the road, drifting downhill with a tailwind!!! To think I got excited when I almost got 11 mpg once and yu go off and pull a 16!

Well my jeep is traveling from Germany to Texas on a 1/4 tank of gas, and I bet my MJ stickers have more miles than anyone elses.

Serious though, that's pretty good mileage.
