So, I was poking around the VA Jeep Trail Dogs website (http://www.vajeeptraildogs.com) and stumbled upon this excellent piece of information. I am probably the only one that did not know this, but I figured I would pass it on just incase.

Heres a good tip:

For those who know they are going to get into the mud when they go wheeling, take a cheap can of WD-40 or even a spray can of PAM and coat the underside of your rig with it. This not only helps the mud fall right off those hard to pressure wash areas, but also helps prevent rust.

That was the baby oil thing I was telling you about. Maybe I'll try this on the next run.

It would be a lot easier just to clean it really well and just spray it on. I may try to clean the jeep this weekend and try this out. If anything, it will help me slide over the rocks easier :)

When I had some of my jeeps they had an automatic feature like that. :D

NIce tip. My Jeep has yet to see dirt, so I won't have to clean the underside first. I think I'll try this out when I get back to FL in June before hitting the trails, especially if it's been raining.

That is a good tip. I think it would also help with being banned from car washes if most of the mud has fallen off already.
