What a great idea!!! I spend a lot of time on other Jeep Forums. I have always enjoyed the jeep lifestyle...it is like a big family. I do think that being in the military changes my jeep experiance up a little bit. I have been a member of many jeep clubs throughout the years and have found that I have had the most fun wheelin' with other military members. I have found in most cases; military guys have one vehilce (we can't afford to beat the crap out of it just for the sake of it), plus we seem to appreciate every thing we do a little more. I have been into jeeps for the past 12 years and have owned/wrenched and wheeled several different models. My current project is a 1997 TJ that I purchased from Collins Brothers when I was stationed at Lackland AFB. I have had in now for about three years. Before that I owned a 82 CJ and 86 Grand Wagoneer. I have done all of the wrenching on my own or with help from a fellow military member in the Auto Hobby Shop (truly one of the biggest benefits of being in the military).
Currently, I'm deployed to Baghdad. This is my second time in the last two years over here. Last time I was assigned to the Army...so this is a little different this time.
If there are any other members over here I would love to get together and BS about future mods and tell storys. If anyone needs anything from over here, please let me know.
