View Full Version : checkin' in
I was directed to this site by Jason at wheelersforthewounded.org. I'm assigned to the 4th BCT, 1st AD at Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX. We are about to move to Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, AL for about a year and then may end up back at Fort Polk, LA. Anyone in any of those areas drop me a note.
I run the site www.***************** (http://www.*****************) which is similar to this site. It's great to see so many military wheelers.
Take care,
Casey

Welcome my friend!!!
Welcome. Spent a couple of weeks at Polk. I just remember it being hot, humid and lots of mosquitoes

Just checked out your site. Very cool man. Definitely like the rigs you guys are running. Who's CJ was that (red and white I believe) with tube fenders? Damn good looking one.
Welcome aboard...good site...makes me miss Texas.

Welcome. I got a new favorites page and another reason for me to kick the wife off of my computer.
Thanks to all for the warm welcome. I'll be stopping by frequently. Didn't realize this page was up.
korisu56...the red and blue Jeep with tube fenders is mine. It's a '73 CJ5 that's been stretched to 101 inches of wheelbase. The build was my welcome home gift to myself.

Awesome looking Jeep. Just saw it in the slideshow before I took care of some school work.

I don't know if it's me, but it seems that "school work" means checking out jeep sites.
Hi Casey...glad you were able to check out this site. Unfortunately, with everything going on here in Iraq plus trying to keep up with the WFTW program, I haven't had as much time as I would like to hit some of the cool forums I belong to...but I try to visit when I get the chance.

I was at Polk during the same time. I got there begining of 03 and left end of 05. We had a great time and met some great people. Polk is not as bad as most think.
I wheeled the box too. I don't care for the mud too much but it was pretty cool. I was an O/C so I got to wheel my g ride too. Sometimes I'd disappear for a few hours checking out new trails in the hummer.

Well I will be in LA if you ever make it there, and by the time you make it there, I will have found all of the good wheeling spots.
