Can someone get me a couple of ammo cans. Two 240, 50 cal or m-19 ammo cans would be awesome.

Ian, you know ammo cans are a controlled item in the Army, but Surplus Ammo has a lot of them. They are off South Tacoma Way right behind Tactical Tailor.

I did not know that. I was thinking that certain Sergeant Majors could get their hands on some. :D

everything is a controlled item by the army. that is why you ask for steel hinged cans with specific measurements and make sure they come in black.

The one on the back of my Jeep that I carry stuff in I bought at a surplus store and keep the receipt in the glove box, just in case. Some day I will get around to painting it black.

The Foxhole had some 5.56 and 7.62 cans when I was looking last winter, but I wanted a mortar can to carry my snow chains in and the only place that had one was Surplus Ammo.
