i will be moving from washington in late fall early winter and wanted to know what the road conditions are like on I5 during that time of year?

Shouldn't be too god awful. You may hit early morning fog which can be pretty thick, sometimes undrivable. I've driven thru that area in late fall and never had too many problems.

i dont believe that there would be any major problems either, unless we get one of those rare storms that just shut down everything.

If yours running through here in late fall you should be alright. Usually around late Nov and Dec is when you will start getting closures.
