Well a few of us showed up Friday night to help clean up Jim Sprick park for the PNW Trail Jamboree. But after going out to dinner Friday and getting caught in a snow storm. Then waking up to THIS!!!! we figured all we would be raking would be snow.

So all work and NO Play makes for a boring day.
Sunday was a nice day with the temps around 30. Yep what a heat wave for April!!!!
So we headed up towards Clover Springs/Bald Mountain. It was dusty and dry down at the bottom then got to be patches of snow til we hit the good stuff.

Well the first real stuck of the day wass Yannie.

First out came the strap.

Nope no good.
Then the winch.

Then two winches.

So now try to pull him out the way he came in.

Well finally it took the mighty 8274 a snatch block and another winch to unstuck him.
So on our way again.

Had to stop and look at those dual beadlock wheels.

Noting exciting but fun was had by all. And I got to have a shakedown run for my Jeep before Moab.

That place looks really really nice. That's a helluva footprint your locks leave behind. Looks like you guys had a great time and just out of curiosity, what size lift was Yannie running on what size tires? Looked like he had a lot of clearance. At any rate...looks like fun.

37" BFG KM2 and I think a 5.5" Rubicon Express lift.

Wow. Pic 5 makes it look like a lot more clearance than that. If his jeep is also the one in the back of pic 1, then that's what I thought it would look like. However, I'm sure the snow and angle of the photo have a part to play.

Looks like you all had a lot of fun. I have not had the chance to drive my jeep in the snow yet, but hopefully someday it will start snowing wherever I am stationed in the future. Thanks for posting the pics.
