Rear Main Seal is bad..

Well had the jeep in Phil's Garage this week getting the new Cat welded in. And also had him look at a oil leak.. Well the rear main seal is bad..

From what i understand, this is not a simple fix. the whole oil pan has to come off, correct?

I would like to fix this myself( I enjoy learning how to do stuff myself), but dont really have the tech. knowledge to do so..

So, what do you guys think? Is this something i can do at the auto hobby shop?

just ordered the parts.. Went with summit, autozone didnt want to work for me for some reason.. Summit was a little cheaper, but charges a $ dollar destination charge.. GAY lol..

So 60 bucks for parts.. Tell the mechanic ill do it my DAM SELF.. ( with your help of course lol) Priceless. lol
