It is supposed to rain Harrisonburg Virginia Friday night, Saturday and Sunday. Rather than pack a lot of camping supplies and food and end up sitting in our tents all night with no fire going, we have decided that it is best to bite the bullet and stay in a hotel near the trail.

We searched for cheap hotels that had enough rooms to accomodate everyone and found the Econo Lodge. The Econo Lodge is located across the street from Chilis and Kmart.

Here is the website for the hotel to make reservations.
http://www.econolodge.com/ires/en-US/html/HotelInfo?hotel=VA182&sid=_R1M.SYZwmg$d3.1

Rates are:
65 bucks a nght
58 if you have AAA
65 - 5% if you can wiggle your way into a military discount.

The following have already reserved a room.

Korisu56- RM 107
Miljeep - RM 111
05warrior- RM 112
jeepmadman- RM 126
don - got room on the net, no room number yet

If you have contact with someone that is planning on attending the ride and has not yet reserved a room, please let them know of the change so we can ensure everyone is taken care of.

bump...

If you got a hotel room, please post up here so we know everyone is taken care of. If possible, try to get the same hotel we are at. The info is listed in the original post above. This way we can have a few drinks together and not have to worry about any driving issues.
