View Full Version : CUCV Pick up help
I have to pick up a CUCV Blazer tommorow and work to get another running. I need a second driver to go with. Any body want to spend part of their day giving a hand.

I would help, but will be in GWNF all weekend.
Yeah, I know, I got to many projects or I would be there too!!!
Now for those folks not going wheeling this weekend.

Where you picking up from? And when?
I have to go to Ruckersville in the AM to pick me up J4F835TA08811.
Then I'm using the dolly for taking another Jeep out to Deadman's.
I was gonna go in the morn but can go later. CUCVs are in MD just south of Andrews AFB.

O and barring the missus speaking up about something, I should be able to free myself for a drive over to Andrews.
So those CUCV's all driveable?
The Blazer (M1009) is and that is the one I need to get home to the house to put up for sale. The truck (M1008) is not, needs driveshaft, alternaters, belts, batteries and diesel - and I think it will go. I've heard it run on batteries and fuel cell with electric pump but that is it.
Main mission is the get the M1009 home, but I would like to mess with the M1008 to see if it is as simple as above or I need to bring/buy some other parts.
