We will have a group going for the weekend. All are invited and encouraged to go and get in a trip before the end of the season. We should have room for anyone who rogers up. Get out and wheel so you don't have to keep posting pictures of your junk in your driveway. :D:beer::beer:

We have site 3 at Arrowhead. Get some of the web wheelers from Bragg to come out. Hell it is a short drive for you guys. 3 1/2 for us. We should have about 6 rigs.
well steering should be unfawked by end of the week, so I may even make a test run up there ahead of time as well.
15-18 you guys got a 4-day that weekend?

Nah we have a 3 day. Sorry a couple of guys are going up early. Most of us are coming up the 16th.
I just found out today my rear end is not locking so I need to un F that. Also some minor cosmetic things I want to do. Regardless I will be there.

Wish I could make it. I've only been to URE once, and the jeep was busted so I ended up taking my 88 3/4T suburban. Man, them's some TIGHT trails!!!! LOL

I've never been, hope to in the spring when we go down to visit family.
Does the park close during the winter months? If not I'm confused :confused:
Why would the season be over? I wheel all year round, snow, ice, rain. It makes it a bit more interesting in the snow and ice.:cool:

TJ 4 the Boxers yes they close during the winter for trail rehab and clean-ups. You will have a good time if you make it down there.
it should be close enough for most guys to even be able to drive out and ride trails.

I'm new at this wheelin stuff , and dont have a super modified rig. just a small lift and a winch. "just dont want to slow down the line but would like to learn. i have been on a couple of easy trails over there. but was unsure of the med and diff.also I have a bike race sat . so my wife thought about ridin out until i get back. she too is new at this and would need coaching. what do ya think. should she wait til i get back? what would be you guys recommendation. and what are the essentials to have on the trail. Thanks !

I would wait until both of you are present. That way you can get pointers at the same time. No worries about slowing anyone down we don't go very fast. Lol. We have a guy in our group on 31s and he gets around with us just fine. Any of the hard trails have bypasses you can take.

Thats fine. I don't think we would spend alot of time getting stuck or breaking down. i just don't know the limitations or capabilities of my little cj5. 2.5 lift w/ 31's. anyway, we would just like to learn the basics.and have a little fun.thanks again.

Yeah your CJ would do fine out there and if you go out with any of us we will ensure you get some guidance before hitting the trail. Then we would start you off on some smaller stuff advancing to more difficult lines. Anything you do not feel comfortable with you can bypass. Nobody is going to get on your for that. May catch some good natured ribbing, but it is about safe and fun wheeling. You are invited whenever we go out again or this trip if you wanna go for a day.

what intended to be a rhino lining the tub.....turned into a pull the bumpers, windshield and dash and lets go ahead and re-paint the body while we have it apart......needless to say, we wont be there this weekend after all. Maybe next time. Thanks guys !! and have a great time.

We got the site we ended up in with the cool lady on the golf cart. Where did all the repairs. That old bastard is gone or else we would go give him some shit. :D:beer:

Go check our site until I can get picks to post on here. As usual I was to busy wheeling to take pics. For some reason everyone stops to take pics of me when we get on Kodak and Budwieser. Joel's wife took some video too but said it would be a while until she got them posted. Me and John walked Kodak and he keeps getting pissed cause I make everything look easy. He bent his tierod under his differential. Pretty sweet, but we had him up and going pretty quick. Sleeved it with a hi lift handle and he drove it home after he aligned it. I think everyone is still looking over their rigs for damage.

Checked the pics looks like fun. Wish I could have been there. I'm looking for opportunities to granade my motor so I can get a 401 in there. They're going for a good deal now and I can put some of my parts right on there. I'm working on the bumpers now. Cutting metal and mocking stuff up. Gonna start building them for sale to all the mall crawlers here in P-cola.
