Beltway Jeepers is a jeep club in the northern virginia area. I am a member of the club and will be trying to attend the meet and greet tomorrow night. You don't have to be a paid member of Beltway Jeepers to go. More information can be found on their site here (http://www.beltwayjeepers.com/index.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=3474) .
If you have not been to a meet and greet for any jeep club, they are basically a chance for jeepers to get together, eat and just chat. IT is a great way to meet other jeepers and also check out their jeeps.
If you plan to attend, I would recommend posting on the Beltway site on this post (http://www.beltwayjeepers.com/index.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=3474) so they know about how many to expect. My member name over on that site is the same as on this site, MILJEEP, just incase you have any questions.
They are pretty fun and you basically just show up and leave when you want to. If you know you are going to go, giving me a heads up will help ensure that I try to save some seats or make sure they are available.
I usually bring my family (my wife and my 3 year old daughter) to the meet and greets, and there is a 50/50 chance I will be able to pick them up before heading up there tomorrow.
This is a goo chance for those in the northern virginia area to meet other jeepers. These meet and greets are usually done about once a week, usually on Wednesdays.
