View Full Version : Quebradas Backcountry Byway, NM.

After Monticello Canyon, it was off to explore the Quebradas. Located just outside Socorro, NM. and winding it's way 25 miles through the backcountry to Hwy 380. It was a great evening of camping and travel the next day. The byway is beautiful drive with many places to explore and is highly recommended.

Also, for what it's worth, I recommend that you start a "New Mexico Trip Reports" thread like I did for Colorado. If you did, I would have some stuff to post. :D

Looks like nice hills have eyes country. Maybe some day I can check that out.

How depressing, I've been stationed at Holloman in Alamogordo NM for 3 years and haven't seen any of these sites. Didn't even know of any other than Red Sands and Trinity site. You'll have to look me up if you're looking to put together a group again.
