The first snow of the season fell here in the Sacramento Mountains of Southern NM. So I just couldn't resist a drive through the backcountry to see. Just a couple of hours out in it sure refreshes the spirit.

OOH RAH!

I'm hoping for some 'tracking snow' before next weekend. We've had a couple of small snowfalls, but the rain washed them away.


Which begs the question: "Where does all the white go, when the snow melts?":confused:

Awesome pics,ever go up north? My stomping grounds and playground were the Jemez Mtns. Fenton Lake,Gilman, Jemez Springs.......... that whole area. Sure miss those mountains.......
