Posted this in the Ft Hood Social Group: Hey, I just joined this site and this social group. This also happens to be my first post so: Been at Ft Hood for around 6 Months. I Have a 04 Rubicon and it is my second Jeep. Anyway, I finally got my shocks for my lift and so a friend and I are planning to install the lift ourselves. Were pretty much noobs but are great at following directions and it all seems pretty straight forward. Basically im just putting this out there to see if there is someone around that I can call or email if we get stuck somewhere. The lift is a fairly simple one to install: Full Traction 4in SA with only the lower CAs. I dont know when we are doing it exactly but it will be soon. Thanks.http://www.higherground4x4.com/Tech/Full%20Traction/display.jpgThats the kit except I have the Bilstein 5100s

I've never done a TJ on worked with leaf springs.... you can check with Sean over at TXPRO he is located on 190 west 1 mile before the town of Lampassas he has reasonable rates and if doing yourself he will give advise. Just drive out to his shop before you do the lift and introduce yourself, or wait till this Thursday night at 1800 at pluckers for Jeep night. He will have a couple of rigs there!

If you can read and follow directions you really won't need help. Lifting a tj is simple. If you do it at sprockets and you do somehow get stuck, the workers there can give you tips. They are pretty knowledgeable with lifts. When you are taking your springs out go ahead and disconnect you lca's it will make the process so much easier.
