Anyone a member on here on Fort Bragg? It seems everywhere I look there is another lifted Jeep.

Any Psy Ops or Civil Affairs here (right off Gruber) own a lifted YJ with the Warn 9.0RS winch, synth. line, tube fenders, about 4-5 inches of lift, disconnected front sway bar.

Probably the nastiest Jeep I have seen along with some pretty nice CJs

I B on post. Haven't had the rig in town in a while, but you're right, there's a bunch of us here. Maybe we should all get stickers or something....

I have seen some rather competent trail rigs rolling around tonight. Is there something going on this weekend? Trail ride?

I'll be back playing with ya'll next summer. As it stands now, Wifey starts my jeeps weekly and then emails me that they still run. (sniff, sniff, whine, whine)

There are a lot of Jeeps on post and I am sure most don't know about this website. Is there any way we can get some business cards made to order? When I do my rucks/runs in the morning and afternoons on my own time there are tons of Jeeps around. It would be cool if I could pop a card under their windshield wiper.

Maybe get a trail ride or two here in the Spring

We gotta find the person who posts ads in either the paper or e-signs on post to put something in there for free. P.A. or someone like that....

I'm putting something out internal to our bubbas, maybe there will be some hits.

are you nominating yourself pres. of the Bragg chapter ? I'll vote for ya !! I am prior service.19D was in 3/73 armor before it was disbanned.I was on base a couple of weeks ago and noticed a ton of rides that looked trail worthy and could not figure out why there was no chapter on Bragg. I am new to this jeepin stuff so i dont know enough yet to spearhead anything concerning wheeling. but hey ! I'll follow yer lead.also if we join as a member and have enough stickers floatin around base and town it should'nt be long before they log in. I am going to get one of those text stickers for my windshield soon. I'm re-painting my cj5 ,"and it aint going to well",im not sprayin metallic and pearl anymore.i screw up too much.not a single stage anyway.anyway good luck ! email me with any suggestions i will help best i can:beer:

I'm all for a chapter. I'll see how many hit me up in our "section" of the base. Bragg is so big. It'd be great to have P.A. or someone hit the base paper, or even Wilson's Offroad put something on thier site (the only local Jeep shop I've found with clout and great rigs parked out front)--I'll talk to them when I fork over more money to them on Monday...Just Empty Every Pocket. The next Wheelin for Warriors thing that pops up in the area would be our best publicity. I'll keep hitting this thread and hope any newbies do, too!!

:D

I don't have a vehicle down here right now and since I am staying in the barracks my trailer queen most likely wont be coming down. I will get some decals over Christmas Exodus when I go home. I will be in training so will be in and out until late Feb. But it would be cool if we could get a Ft. Bragg section on this forum like what Ft. Knox has.

How do you start a chapter? What does it entail?

Hey, I am in for getting together, as much as I can. I am gone a lot, but would love to get together with some other people in the area. I also have a son and daughter, with no 4x4 experience, and they both have the jeeps for daily drivers. I'll be back in December, and will be heading over to Wilson's Off Road. Those guys are great.

Well, it went. The UPS dude didn't show up today so I'm ONE more day without the carb. Rich?? Please tell me there's a secret E-6 slush fund I haven't found yet....THEN I'll be rich.

I did figure out that ordering parts through them is one thing (not better or worse than ordering it yourself online), but for just putting a rear hoop onto my roll cage, he was saying 600 dollar range....I think the crack pipe has been found and we have a winner! I'll only pay that much if there were things like a "never ending supply of Captain Morgan's" coming out of the roll cage. (I don't sit back there, it's not that important)

I'll keep you posted.

Oh, I got stickers today. The supplier is very prompt and even threw in a couple of other goodies into the envelope. If you're going to order more than a set, go ahead and do the "Supporter" contribution, you get stickers with that, too.

I'm up for joining an MJ Bragg Chapter. I won't be back from deployment until July though......

On a side note, Wilson's seems to be a decent shop with friendly folks working, but yeah, they are pretty proud of their stuff! (Better than the shop off of Reilly Rd though (Performance Offroad, I think it's called??)

where is this Wilson's shop I keep hearing about? I am new to Bragg so I haven't searched out the local area completely yet.

Downtown, not too far from the S.O. museum. www.wilsonoffroad.com (http://www.wilsonoffroad.com) has thier number/address on it.

From post, either fight the traffic through All American, or take 210S out of Butner Gate for the other way to that area of town.

I'll be going back there tomorrow to pick up a carb (hopefully), I'll see what other links they have for us to use (other clubs, etc.).
