Finally go the CJ out of the garage!
Finally had a nice enough day to get some pics! I've had he MJ banner on for over a month now, but between storms and breakdowns, haven't had a chance to get a decent pic. I know, it's in my driveway, but I am going wheeling this weekend, hopefully I'll get an action shot!

And I christened it with a new name, in honor of all the engine problems I've had!

Sweet CJ. Any chances of getting some better pics of that trailer? I am going to build a nice behind the jeep adventure trailer.
Thanks

No problem. It's an M416 Jeep trailer I modified, bought the tent from Rack Tents: http://www.racktents.com/Tents.html
Here's a link to my write up, and one to my photobucket for the trailer.

I still plan on adding a water tank with pump, 20# propane tank and deep cycle battery.
Used it for the first time in Moab, Utah last month, it works great!

I built them, used an old set, cut and added then covered them in Herc U Liner.
First I added a strip of 16 guage for a 'lip':

Then I used 1/2'' electrical conduit and some 3' wide 16 guage for the flares:

The rest is stock fender. Being stock, it got pretty wavy from welding on the 16 guage, but the herc-u-liner covers that up.:D
If I ever do it again, I'll just use the inner fender, and use 14 or 16 guage sheet steel for the rest. It'll be tougher and flat, so it can be painted.
Wow that sucks... I can't afford t have you giving me a bunch of new ideas... :D:beer: Great looking Jeep though.
