if you like dong anything outdoors, then this is certainly the place for it.
All kinds of fishing 3 trout fishing areas 2 are state run and always stocked. Then river fishing is good + gigging if you like. Lakes all over the place.

Hunting is very good from qail, Turkey (everywhere) and whitetail around here, I think NE MO has some mule mixed, not real sure though.

Of course wheeling parks every 150 miles or so

Got my orders today. School starts on the 17th of July and I report to the 463rd MP Co on/by 10th of October. We're starting to look at houses now. Is there anywhere we should stay away from?

most is ok, alot of newer houses and some older. I would try for the newer ones if you can. Dont get roped into "its not that far" ie 15 miles or more. Although Dixon Richland Lebanon Croker are all descent places they IMO are to far. I know this because my ex and I bought a house in Lebanon gas was $1.50 then in 2003 so 38 miles was no big deal-now it is.

I think the farthest we are lookin is dixon, I'm not sure though cause my wife is lookin and i'm just sayin yeah that's nice.

yea I did that with my ex LOL looks greta Hun...oops anyway just my $0.02 anyway. Untill here I always wanted to be far from post so I could and my freinds could do whatever we wanted...but I grew up LOL
