He may not be a soldier but his daddy is my neighbor whos driveway is connected his son was hit by a lady in a truck talking on her cellphone. The boy was only 20 months old.:(

Prayers for Gavin and his family. My wife told me about this last night. This is incomprehensable. :(

There are many small children in my court at Woodlawn including my 3 yo son, and it really angers me at how carelessly and fast people drive into it. Please Let me know if there is anything I can do.

I got yelled at by a neighbor once in my apartment complex just for hurrying, since then I've definitely slowed down regardless of who is or isn't around.

Man, I'm at a loss for words. Correct me if I'm wrong, but talking on a cell while driving is illegal on all CONUS posts, right? WTF!!! As a father, my heart is broken for this family. I hate to see children die by the ignorance of their elders, karma's a mofo, hope this person gets hit by a truck. I'm sure the driver is distraught, but they should consider the concequences of their actions before disasters like this occure. I live off post on a small cul-de-sac, and assholes that drop off their kids at the ladies house at the end of my street for day care f'n fly up and down the 75 meter street, WTF! I'm always telling my and neighborhood kids to watch out. Someone hits my kid and I will kill them within two minutes of it happening. Period.

I saw this back in may, when it was posted, I understand the outrage!!! I have been thinking about this off and on. What a shame!!! When will people there common sense? or do they not have any? Hope the phone call was worth the life you took!!!! WTF

Talking on the cell phone while driving is about as selfish as a drunk driving... A complete disregard for anyone elses safety and unfortunately this is the result.
