for those of you that went up on Black Friday you know I had an issue there at the overlook:(. that wasn't the first time it occurred but it was the worst. most times it starts up and just runs rough for 20-30 seconds then is fine and idles like nothing happened. Friday the air and fuel had to be drained out of the rail (thanks Joey), and then she fired up with out a problem. now i ask you.... vapor lock, fuel pump, 02 sensor, plugs, plug plenium, etc etc. please tell me what you think.
i have been reading and vapor lock is pretty UNcommon in fuel injected engines but it's happened to 4.0s that have other problems also.....

It might be the fuel pump....it could be getting hot and just vapor locking. You had alot of air coming out of that rail on fri.

Anty-Drain valve part of the fuel pump/filter/gage sensor assy. Is about $180 and I can't find it by it self. Mine is starting to do the same thing. I read that a one way valve should cure the problem....

That is a common problem with wranglers and Cherokee... yours was so bad, I think because of the quick climb in elevation.
