Shanes Rib Shack offers a 20% Military Discount for military and familiy members. We just need to ask for it and show our ID card.

Spread the word if there is any other jeeper in the area. If they are not military, they won't get the 20%, but it is a chance to see some other jeepers for a little bit. If you know someone else is coming, please post up in this thread and include the club they are from (if any) so I can mke sure I call the manager and tell him about how many to expect.

Just found out shanes rib shack offers a 20% military discount. Just ask for it and show your ID. I say we pick a good date that a whole crap load of people can show up.

I would like to be able to get a pretty accurate head count so that I can prep them for the Shanes Rib Shack invasion.

I keep a small roll of galvanized wire in the back of the XJ, for fixes like that.

The information about this is posted on NOVA Jeepers and Beltway Jeepers also. I really thought that they would have some non-MJ members attend to meet some of the newer jeepers since a couple do not belong to an actual paid club. I know MJ has people from NOVA and Beltway that will be there, but it would have been a good chance for the clubs to get some other jeepers there from their club to meet others that may be potential members of their club in the future.

I put you down. I am going to contact the manager tomorrow and tell them that we will be down with about 15 people. This is not really the kind of place where you reserve tables, so as people come, they can order. Just make sure you bring your mil id if you have one and get the 20% off the meal for you and your family.

Hell yeah. Good turn out. Got rear-ended on the way home! Good times. I was stopped in the left lane behind someone cause someone was in the way, looked in the side-view mirrors and saw these lights bearing down on me. Threw it into gear and hammered down while they locked the brakes up, wound up only bumping my spare tire and breaking something on his. I say something cause he took off. I stopped a cop and gave him my info in case turd-bag decides to call it in, but I let him know he took off. Oh well. Good time guys :D

The manager gave me a bunch of coupons for "buy one get one free" for their 10.99 shack sample platter. That is not a bad deal. Even if you cannot use the military discount, the meal and drink would be like 6 bucks.

Oh I'm fine. I flew by me while I was stopped so I checked myself and jumped back in mine and took off to catch up. He was stopped at a left turn light about .5 mi up from the scene, and I was coming in hot. I locked up my brakes and he took off through the red. That was the first time I've ever locked up 35x15" swampers, and let me tell you it sounds f'in cool. Anywho...flagged a cop down, good to go.

I hit some idiot that ran a stop sign about 2-3 months ago. DESTROYED his rear bumper. Not a scratch on the Jeep. Guy was so embarrassed that he ran the stop sign that he stopped to make sure we were ok and then told us to have a good night.
