View Full Version : Saw a weird Jeep Wrangler on 95N today...

Don't know what the deal was, it was a Jeep TJ with big, boxed out fenders and a nameplate on the side like "landrunner" or something similar. The fenders were like none I've ever seen before, very boxy and about six to eight inches off of the body. The rear tail lights were mounted into the fenders, and a cargo rack of some kind was mounted at the rear where the tail lights usually are. Big ARB type safari bumper, winch. the body and the fenders were red, whole thing looked like a pro or factory type build as I could tell. It wasn't lifted more then 3"-4" at most. Lights on the roof too...anyone ever seen this one before?

It's a body kit that you can get with for your Jeep, kinda like the kits you can get for ricers. Someone wanted their jeep to look like a hummer.

I would bet that you saw one of the Earth Roamer JK's. Was it also a Rubicon?

The landrunner looks like a TJ and a Hummer made sweet love, and carried it to full term, should have been aborted in my eyes...... I think the Earthroamer might be ugly, but very practical if your doing some kind of expedition, about time jeep took some business away from Land Rover.

Yea, they also have this built on a Ford F-550 chassis. 4 door, etc. Got to hit the lotto 1st though...

Yeah, I remember discussing those somewhere. Those things are sweet. I think you can get one with the 4dr jeep as well. They have a badass little setup.
