I've been a member for a while but I haven't posted anything yet so I figured I'd start.

My neighbor offered me this 79 CJ5 for $350. I bought it and drove it across the street into my back yard.

I have a ton of work to do yet but I'm trying to get into OCS so if that happens then I won't see her again until mid August. I would have more done but I'm a college student/ reservist so the jeep lives at my parents' house 7 hours away. Don't have the time or the funds for a complete frame off restore yet but hope to get to it one day. After that wheeling trip my mom wouldn't even let me on the porch until I got sprayed off with the hose. Riding topless and windshield down doesn't keep much mud out.
