Like the title says. If we are participating in the raffle how will our names and info be collected. What would we need to do and when will raffle be held and will everyone attend. If name is called and you are not present does that mean you lose out.

I have never been to camp MJ and am unsure of how everything works

I was figurin to go down the list of the trail assembled groups in the AM and hand out 1 tick per person, can check off username on list. That evening (will be Saturday evening) after all returned would call numbers if matches your tick you win.

I'm Open to better suggest, as long as it is simple execution. I'm picking up roll o raffle tickets this week.

It would be very helpful if someone would volunteer to help w/ this task.

None of that will be necessary. I will be winning all raffles and have already made arrangements to get everything home. I am sorry everyone was misinformed and was told that they had an equal chance. Better luck next year gentlemen. :p

Kevin when you see a blue jeep with a tan hard top snorkel I think you may have seen him before give him 100 cash this will increase your odds of winning to the same as everyone else that attends:)

Dan,
Suggestion I would make is in breaking down your groups, if their is a trail boss/leader give them the sheet with names and tickets for those in group, that will lesson your work load ever so slight this could be distributed at guides meeting along with rules etc for group,cb channel etc

I got another option that may run with kind of makes sense.

Instead of handing out the raffle tickets before the ride, that can get dirty, skanky, wet, soiled or plain ol lost during the day. Take a few minutes before the raffle to hand out the tickets.

JP having the guides do it would sure help, good call.

When will we get to see one!:D (Sorry JP - You left it wide open)

Hey it's not a real difficult task. At meet up time when you are going to do the raffle you hand out tickets. Then you draw tickets and give out prizes. Tough part is putting them in an order that makes the last one drawn is like a grand prize. Depending on how many people you have you might want to consider allowing more than one win. Last year we had more give aways than people.

You are correct!!!!!! no worrys it will come back :)

I think you are right if we have more give aways, after everyone has gotten something( damn that sounded like a lib speaking who was that)
the only reason I say give them out (have trail leaders) early is in case of breakdown or other reason someone does not make it back in time they still have a shot to win something... but hey I never win so I dont care..

what we are oing in the Mid west is simple, everyone has to register at the event. At registration you will be given a raffle ticket. Fri NIght at dinner we will ask if anyone failed to register (therefor they didn't get a raffle ticket) and that will be thier chance. After Dinner Raffles away, that way the ones that win good prizes like bumpers or the winch can install them that night and be ready for the next day

SOME of our prizes will not be given out till Sat after the ride but those are earned prizes not door prizes

what are my chances of actually winning something, I have no luck and my number never gets picked for some reason.

Well through my advanced mathematical equasions I feel comfortable in saying your odds or probability are 1:39 or .0256

But since it looks like we have at least 31& give-aways you have a .795:1 chance of winning something.. Pretty good odds
so hows that for useless...
