Groups are not set in Stone, there will be flex.
For those that wanted to be on same group together I tried to honor those. If I missed it, let me know we can adjust.
Intend to get cell phone #’s to list on printed sheets for Guides day of event.

If your know of someone or you is now NOT coming let me know.

Rally point for Groups will be near the camping area.

Here is timeline:

Friday – 23rd
No events planned, arrival and setup

Saturday – 24th
0800 Groups assemble, guides check/learn your drivers & rigs, check-in
or register w/ RC (wristband & sticker)
0900 Drivers Meeting, CB channel assigments, general safety list, etc.
0930 Groups roll-out
Lunch on the trail
1600 Arrive back in parking lot
1630 Assemble in Competition course area for group photo
1800 Back to camping/assembly area for Raffle, short speech, thanks
to vendors, etc.

Sunday – 25th
0900 up Assembly (fewer rigs rolling, will build groups/guides at this time)
0945 Driver meeting
1000 roll out to trails


Extra need to know:
- Bring all the food supplies you will need for the weekend.
- Rausch is primitive camping, all that is supplied is a Port-a-John, you need to bring everything else, water included.
- Alcohol consumption will only occur at the End of the day after we are off the rigs and trails.
- Dress for the weather, if you and your companions are comfortable, the ride will be A LOT more enjoyable for all.
- CAMERAs – bring your cameras, we will be documenting our fun trip
o Need a couple good cameras to designate for the Group photo
- Bring your tools and spare parts

We can or meet one on one if you just have some specific Q's.
I should roll in around 7:30pm-ish on Friday.
Group 3 guide is arriving Sat morning.

Dan you might want to get gunners(ask for volunteers) in each group....
Also be nice to have onboardair in each group if possible
Also I will bring some 2 way radios for some leaders and gunners to borrow.

I believe your lead and trail rigs need comms. CB's usually work.

Was figgerin to do Gunners at line-up. Where can have the 1on1 coversations and see rigs.

On board air is nice, but without prior knowledge of rigs most may not have, I don't. A spare should be a required piece of equipment, especially w/ lockers.

Yeah Guide/Gunner do need comms. CB's is the Ideal, but 2ways are good backup.

Then the Expected rule of keep rig behind you in view, if not Stop. This prevents missing turns and keeps the groups semi-tight. I was planning to cover this in driver meeting also.

well guys I disagree and heres why when the lead is trying to contact the gunner and everyone else is chattering on the cb it is very difficult to communicate, the cb is great for comms with the group but not for lead/gunner comms.....but since I am neither I guess I dont give a shitt.........

Hey warthog_cj7, looks like we are both in group 4… I have run tail gunner at RC before and will be happy to do so again with our group. I have a CB and am set up pretty good… You can check my Jeep out Friday afternoon or Sat morn… I can PM you my cell # if you want….


Edit: I just noticed "gunners" were already assigned... I can still help if needed.

I hadn't assigned any gunners. The list is just those that are in the groups. Was at Min. trying to get guides assigned.

Your more than welcome to be Gunner in our group.

FYI, made a small tweak to group 1 & 2.
Crazy4ink suggested putting a rally point for the 8am line up. I added that between the groups and time line
Rally point for Groups will be near the camping area.

Alright all I'm going to have limited access to PC tomorrow. So I'm printing the above list. If you need me, ring. I'm sure we can adjust whatever out there.
