Didn't know that we were supposed to support this shin-dig. I didn't see it posted anywhere on here. The only local show that I knew of (and was posted here) was the BWJ one, tentatively rescheduled for the 31st (?). Had I known WRAMC guys were coming down, woulda been priority 1, no shit.

Brother got married a couple weeks back and it was on a Cruise. I was not able to take leave to attend my brothers wedding because my boss was retiring on the same day. Saturday (the day of the show and shine), they had a party for the people that could not make the wedding in St Thomas. I left the house at 1130, got to the location in NY at 1830, attended the party from 1900 to 2400, then drove back home. It is now 0700 in the morning and as you can tell, there was no way I could attend the nova event.

Honestly though, I had no idea anyone from Walter Reed was going to show up. It was never posted anywhere that I am aware of. The only thing I heard was that there may be some Wounded Warriors at the Falls Church Auto Show, but the only people I saw show up there were people from Beltway and one or two from Nova Jeepers.

Anyway, it would be cool if they signed up here.

Yup one of the guys in his stock TJ with a winch from Walter Reed got an XJ recovery badge at Deadman's afterwards.
Nope it wasn't me, I was playing anchor for him.

The Cow Beast got the following at the Show & Shine yesterday:
1st Place Dirtiest Jeep
2nd Place Most Abused Jeep (John - Nosigma got 1st, if you have ever seen his XJ you would understand)
RTI Ramp - 633.66 (I scored higher with my 4.5" lift & 32" BFG M/T's than an XJ on 35" Super Swampers and 10.5" of lift, beat him by a quarter of an Inch.)

2 XJ Recovery Badges
djsxj (NoVa) - XJ 10.5" of lift on 35's. I pulled him the 1st 15-20ft out of the hole, and the guy from Walter Reed had to use the winch the rest of the way. XJ to winch TJ, TJ strapped to the Cow Beast, Cow Beast strapped to tree.
Diego in his Red XJ. (The Stock TJ on street radials made it fine) I had to drag his ass out of the muck as well. As you can see from the attached picture, I had no rear visiblity, I had go around and then back down the trail with ground guide by Diego to his rig. Course it wasn't a tug right Diego, it was more like a full on put it in low and drag his scrawny but out of there.

Yes it is with a 633.66.
Only NoSigma's (John) XJ beat me for XJ's. SicJeep's Grand Cherokee was just nuts on there.
