Who would be interested in a 100 square raffle.

It is 10 squares labeled (A through J) by 10 squares labeled (1-10)= 100 squares (almost like 4 digit grids or battle ship).
Each square would cast $10 or $20 depending on the cost of prize.
You buy a square and you write your name in an open square of your choice (for example you chose square A1) when the 100 squares are full we draw one letter and one number if letter A is drawn form letter jar and number 1 is drawn form number jar square A1 is the winner.

What does this do? Example I buy a new $400 winch (Smitty built XRC10K) at $10 a square thats a $1000.00 that leaves $600 to a chairity of Camp MJ mid west choice. And for $10 someone gets a new winch.

I seen this a t a Ducks ulimited event using a shotgun, winches are easier to deal with, lol.

What do we think? I'll front the cost of the prize(around $400) is a winch what we want or anothr prize?

I'm in, but shipping would be a btch. you would almost be better buying a gift card covering the price of the winch plus what the shipping cost should be and then giving them the gift card to let them buy it on their own rather than paying to ship it yourself.

we could do one over the net leaves room for questions of integrity.

I was thinking it was a winch setting there on a field table with the 100 square poster board and the winner picks it up and takes it to their rig.
A gift card would be cool also specially for a mail to winner.

Think I'l try it with midwest CMJ and see how it works, I know a coupl FFL guys that could do weapons transfers to other states but I think 4x4 stuff is more appealing to more people and no Federal paper work.

I would buy a square. I kind of like the idea of the gift card, that way the winner could buy whatever they wanted/needed, but either way I'm in.

I'm in for that!

Plus, if it's something like a winch, that we have at Camp MJ Midwest, it's something we could let the Fun-Run folks in on.

Be a good thing, since they're letting us in on there thing.

And that's the thing, I think.

I figured that anyone who wanted in can get in, even if all of us had a square there would still be 30-40 or more open.

two or more squares can be purchased to improve your odds.

Talked with a sponsor 4 wheeler supply in Springfield, MO. I arranged a $400 gift card from them for the 100 square raffle. I will buy it or we pay for it from the money taken in from the 100 sqaure.

So if all 100 squares are sold it comes out to $1000.00 minus $400.00 so $600.00 goes to a local charity of our choice.
A check will be written and sealed in an envolope right then and there and given to [person?] to be dropped off in the mail box. If a charity is present then we hand it straight to them. No, person X's jeep project is not a charity.

The squares are lettered across A to J, and up and down from 1 to 10 like I posted before. 2 drawing buckets one with letters and one with numbers the winner gets the gift card or certificate worth $400 from 4WS.

So when you get there look for the Camp MJ HQ's area and purchase a square or two for a heck of a profit; once you puschase a square you print your name in an open square and that one is yours.

I think maybe a two square limit at first?

I agree, gives folks that arrive late a chance to get a square.

Don't see a problem filling the board.

Great Job Ghost!

So the gift card gives a little flex for someone who already has a winch and needs another high priced toy,is that how this will work?

Yes, some already have winches, one winch is a raffle prize already.
$400 to spend at 4WS anyway the winner wants.
