Anyone running these? I'm up in the air between these and BFG KM2s. I already had a set of 32" KM2s on my Jeep before, and I had no problems with them, but I like the look of the new MT/Rs. That, and I have a coupon for $100 off a set of 4, which works out to about $12 less a tire for the MT/Rs.

Get the MT/R's and be different......everyone has KM2's.

KM2s are over rated in my opinion. I've heard nothing but great things about the MTRs.

I agree. I'm settled on the MTRs. Backordering a set (due in middle of June) next Monday.

I run the MTR'S on mine and love them. They make enough noise on the road to let you know they are there and quite enough to have a conversation if you want to. They are a heavier tire so be ready for that.
Just make sure you get them mounted right, something about they have to be mounted white letters out.
Mine are not and have had no issues, only about 5000 miles on them, and they are in a storage unit now till I get back.

Just ordered a set of 4, 35x12.5R15. Not sure when they are shipping yet, but got a real good deal on them through 4x4groupbuy.com.

Post up how much you paid, if you don't mind. I am up in the air on these vs the Cooper SST based on cost alone.

I paid $905 for the set of 4. Goodyear is doing an $80 rebate on sets that ship before July 15, but I'm using the $100 rebate that I got through NORA. 4x4groupbuy.com gave me an estimated ship date for the third week of June. No matter where I checked these tires out at, they gave me about the same estimated ship date. I guess these tires are on backorder just about everywhere.

I just got a set of 35's. I put them on my JK Unltd with a 4in ORV lift. A bit bigger than stock, but not overly loud. Made the run from ATL back to Fayetteville, NC with out any issue. Did some light wheeling just to see how the shoes fit, and they fit well. No slip on hills or on wet pavement. Pretty happy, over all.
There's my 2 cents.

I am going to 37x12.5x17 and the best price I could find (if they had any) is $329 which is the same that 4x4GB has it for Tirerack has them for the same price and Discount came in at $364 a tire.... I printed the prices on 4x4GB and Tirerack and Discount matched it but I could tell they were a little miffed about it... fawk em' don't advertise it if you don't want folks shopping around.
Should be on in a week or two.... waiting for my WE wheels. :D
I tried to get a set of KM's for 2 weeks now. Impossible at this point. Nobody has them, so I bought the MTR Kevlars. I'll let you know.

Have you tried http://www.treadepot.com/ ??? Their prices are rather good and they seem to have a lot in stock. Just a thought.

The tires ended up shipping and were deliverd to my house last week before i got back from my TDY, about a month ahead of schedule. They look really good on the garage floor, just need to go get them put on ;). I went ahead and ordered a full size spare too, just to be safe.
Got them ,love them and will buy them again. 305R70-17

love mine too, they are such a huge improvement over the old MT/R's, and the old ones weren't too shabby. Also, they're almost TOO quiet, and I'm only running 25 psi in them.
Had BFG's before and like them a lot, just wanted to try the MTR's and love them.:D

thats because they work. haha

and man, they just took that turn from public favorite to overrated. lol. thats rough.
on a side note, i'm one of everyone who has the KM2's and i love em. but i've also hear amazing things about the MT/Rs. if you can afford em, i say give em a shot.

I had the KM2s in 33x10.50 flavor. They had their pros and cons. I just got a set of 35x12.50 MT/Rs last week. Great on the road. Plan on testing a little further this weekend :D

I didn't feel so bad holding up the crew changing my tire, when Dan did the same thing, on the same hill, as soon as I got out of his way:D
I'll probably get a set of these when my Duratracs run out and if I have a second daily driver car by then.

Had mine on for about 3 weeks now. I still can't believe how quiet they are on the road, even at 25psi. Off-road, they are fantastic. I've only had them in mud and sand so far. They float over sand very well, and they can sling mud without digging you hard down into it. I love them, definitely a great buy.
