After finally scoring some hard half doors for my CJ I figured that the blue exterior and tan interior would not look too swift with the wine exterior and black and gray interior so I figured that some refinishing was in order. The exterior of he doors was simple, flat black. The interior I wanted something that wasn't so plain so here's what I came up with:

I used good ol' rattle cans. It was Rustoleum painter touch metallic aluminum for the top and flat black for the insert covered with two coast of painters touch matte clear to cover and knock off some of the shine from the aluminum.
looks great. How does that plastic take to spray?

I lightly sanded with some 400 grit and scrubbed them down before spraying. The aluminum would leave a powdery residue on your hand if was rubbed, but after clear coating that went away. Other than that it was fine.
