Here is my 78 CJ-7 I inherited while being in Iraq. It only has 24,357 miles on it and I just got my antique plates and paperwork on it. I will post post-build pics once she is done getting her fab and aftermarket work done. She used to be sunshine yellow with a white top but grand-dad had to replace the rusty tub with a fiberglass one a couple years back and decided on white since there isn't an AC in her...yet. I learned to drive in this very Jeep back when she was yellow and I was only 11. When I turned 16 she was temporarily mine until I could afford my own set of wheels without such high insurance and I put about 6,000 of those 24,000 miles on her back in '94. As you can see, she has only ever been at our various hunting leases around Florida and a couple years in South Georgia. This pic is at our hunting lease camp in New Symrna just south of Daytona.

very nice......never part with her
Very nice to have a low mileage jeep of that age and with sentimental value......This would always be a favorite jeep, I'd think! I plan on giving my jeep to my 10 year old when he's older......Looking forward to seeing pics in the future!

I don't plan on ever parting with her...maybe "parting" her for continous restoration or building but I never plan on having her not a part of the family. My son has a little over 13 years before his driver's license but she's made it over 30 years so far so what is another two decades until he's out of College!
Great story. I love stuff like that. Nice looking CJ. Welcome to the site.

Welcome to the site and thanks for the email.
That's one fantastic looking Jeep! I can't believe it's in such good condition with so few miles on it as well...very nice! That's got to be a blast to ride around in!!!

I've never really gotten her stuck except when she is high centered or bottomed out which is very few times once I learned what she could handle! Now that she is getting a face lift, boob job, and butt implants, she should be very capable for the truly limited mudding and trail riding I do. I can't wait for Jason to see her after it is all said and done by the time the WFTW event comes around next year in my areas.
