Calibration for larger tires

I recently purchased an 08' Wrangler Sahara JK and put on 33" tires. I took it down to local Jeep dealership to have them calibrate the system to non-stock tires but seem to be having some tire pressure sensor problems. I have them properly inflated to the psi at cold, but do not notice the sensor going off. The dealership said they have no answer for this. I am curious to know if I went about calibrating my system the correct way? I'd appreciate any feedback on this. Thanks...

I'm confused about what you're trying to do. Is there some sort of sensor that tells you when your tire pressure is low? If so, wouldn't that be a pain to have that thing going off when you air down while off-road?

At first I though you were asking how to calibrate your odometer and speedometer due to the new tire size...but now I'm not sure. :confused:

it actually monitors the difference between all tires. so if they all sit at 15psi it should not go off. at least that is what i read.

There might be a reset button of some sort inside the car some where on the dash. I know that alot of the newer cars that have the tpms ( tire presure monitoring system) on the cars that I change tires on have them on the inside, you could try checking the owners manual to that should tell you how to reset it. and there are some cadies, and cars like that, you have to use a hand held thing that will reset them and calabrate them. hope this helps a little
