weekend wheeling

Hey guys, I'm looking for a good weekend wheeling trip for my family and I. Within a 6 hr drive from El Paso, TX. Possibly around north New mexico or South Colorado. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure how far it is from El Paso to South Colorado, but I think it may be more than 6 hours. When I drove from Dallas to Colorado Springs it took me around 11 or 12 hours in a Wrangler to get out of Texas.

We have good trails here around Alamogordo.
Also white sands park for the fam.
