Well, about a month ago I had a customer come into my shop. They were looking for a front winch-mount bumper with a stinger. They wanted the bumper that I had on my Jeep since it was the one that was in 4 Wheeler magazine. So what's a guy to do right? I pulled my bumper off and sold it to them.

Well, after a month of my winch being ratchet strapped to the front of my Jeep, I decided I needed to build a new bumper.

Here are some pics from mock up. Now, it's finished, painted and installed so I will take some new pics tomorrow. These will give you an idea though.

Although it looks like it, the side bars do not interfere with the headlight pattern at all.

Here is a front view: (if you look closely inside the stinger hoop, you can see the blower)

Hard to see in the above pic, but there are iron cross gussets in the corners where the side bars meet the stinger. I have some clear when off, amber when lit LEDs on the way. Mousee (my friend that went into business with me) had the idea to epoxy pot inside the iron crosses and embed the LEDs.

Here is a side shot:

Another front shot:

The last pic was taken when I had my hood off to install the Gen Rite louvers.

Whatcha think?

Looks nice man. Too bad the only welding I can do is that which can be done with JB Weld.

WOW that looks pretty nice, I like how the front goes across the front of the frame flat like that. How thick is the plate you used?

Now you're going to get some other guy coming into your shop, seeing your bumper, wanting to buy it, and you're going to sell it to them and be without a bumper again. :D

Looks great!

Well, if you want something like that, just let me know!

:D I started out like that, but I am getting better. Damien, the guy that went into business with me, can lay down some gorgeous welds!

Beautiful stinger man.

Good looking bumper, nice job.

Thanks a lot guys! This one was a completely new design, stinger-wise and at first we didn't like it. Now that it's painted and on the Jeep, it looks killer.

The bottom plate is 1/4" plate that we bent on a 10 ton press. It actually cups the front of the frame rails that way you can use the top 6 bolts and the bottom 2. I don't have to worry about bending the winch plate!

Sure thing. I will snap some later today and post them up.

Hey, you don't even know me! I've only done that with my 4 previous bumpers!
