I've been shopping around for some mirrors to put on my new half doors and I've noticed that there are two types for thye YJ. They show one for the half door that is more upright and the other says for the full door which is more of a flag style. I like the looks of the second type better but are there any issues with putting those on a half door that I'm not thinking of?

Throw some pics up of the two you are referring to Sin. It will make it easier to comment on the merits of both that way...just a suggestion.
use the ones that bolt to the hinge. (flag style)

Technically you have to have doors on, but it's one of those things that they usually won't cite for unless the cop is a real jerk.

Really? That's new. I guess that FFX county cops don't know this or something because they pull people over for not pausing long enough at stop signs
For me a good ole Harley mirror works jus fine, drops down in the door hinge when i take the doors off.

I couldn't find it in VA's safety regs:

I have these on my YJ and love them. I can take my doors on and off and don't have to mess with the mirrors.

Don't know. Maybe someone with a CJ can chime in on this one.
