Yup I pulled the trigger about a min ago and bout a full set of 285 75 r16s. Wanted to go with 15s but some future planes dictated staying with 16s

yes Chris they are the retread thing I told you about so we will see just how good they really are.

new shoes? im gettin my rig used ones from the local yard today, gettin ready to pull out now. wish me luck in finding some. (shhh, cant get "new" ones yet.)

dude treadwright.com the retreads are good for highway use up to 33s and as fronts the 35s are offroad use only. so the next set is gonna be a little more involved

just got back from the yard. he had a few pair, but nothin i'd pay the price he was askin. tried gettin me with "they worth more cuz they on aluminum rims" BULLSH*T!!!!! as a mechanic i know better. specialy when they all oxidized n crap.

$30 for 2 tires on "jeep" rims, or $20 for the one. it was the wrong size,so needless to say he still has em both! lol

anyhow, goin out in thew morning to another yard up here & seeing what they have.
