Ok, I haven’t decided that I am 100% committed to selling this, so it’s going to take a pretty good offer at this point. But anyway, up for discussion is my 1948 Willy’s Jeep CJ2A. This jeep is in great shape. It runs and drives awesome. I have tons of pictures and videos if anyone wants to see the Jeep in action. The Jeep is great on and off road. The 4 wheel drive and locking hubs work perfectly. There is no trail or hill that this thing can’t handle. Anyone in the Fort Bragg chapter of Military Jeepers can vouch for the off road capabilities.
The Jeep has tons of new parts, to include brake lines, front tires, wheel seals and dozens of others. It has the original “go devil” L head 4 cylinder motor and 3 speed tranny, and has been converted to 12 volts. Again, it runs and drives great. There are very few issues, and they are all pretty minor. The Jeep also has a really nice tow bar that hooks to the front bumper so it can be towed anywhere (the Jeep’s top speed is about 50-55, so you’ll want to tow it if you’re traveling a long distance).
I am looking to get another Jeep if I sell this, so I may be willing to trade. I am looking for a TJ, YJ or possibly even the right CJ7. A well built XJ MAY be considered.
As you will notice, there is no price listed in this add. Look at the pictures, come see the Jeep, take it for a spin and make me an offer. If someone makes me a great offer, I’ll sell her, if not I have no problem keeping her around. I love this Jeep, but I am looking for something I can drive more regularly and still wheel on the weekends. That being said, I’m not going to give the Jeep away, I’ve worked too hard on it to do that. Please don’t waste my time or yours with lowball offers. Thanks.
Please call/text/email me for more info or pictures. My name is Nick and my phone number is 334-379-8792. My email is Nicholas.Bennett@usarec.army.mil
