Here we go!

Plan will be based loosely around the one from from the last outing...

Meet up @ Sonic on Hope Mills Road again and we'll go from there!!!


Meet Up: 1000 roll out from Sonic on Hope Mills Road. 2886 Hope Mills Rd Hope Mills, NC 28348 Show up early and grab some breakfast and some meet and greet time. The wife and I will be there between 0830 and 0900. I love me some Sonic in the morning.

Lunch: 1200 or so... We will be grilling out at the swimming hole. Let us know if you are bringing something. We'll make sure there is enough - don't worry. Bring lots of water. It gets hot out there. Bring something to grill. Hopefully our guy will bring the grill again!

Afternoon: Wheel after lunch for a few more...

Evening: Convoy to my house: Pizza, Beer, What have you... :beer:

Non Jeeps are welcome. FJ's or Hummers would be great as well (So we can get photos of them getting pulled put ALL day, just like last time)

FOR REAL: FJ AND HUMMERS FOLKS.... BRING THEM OUT!

If you can't be there for the entire day or you would like to partake in some part, let us know and we can plan accordingly.

If you see a Jeep on post this week, stop them and tell them about FB-MJ's and invite them out. I am told that asking them if they, "wanna get weird?" is not the correct approach, but invite them. If you have a guy in your unit that wheels or looks like they might want to, invite them out (regardless of what they drive). We will pull them out too!

Man, I can't wait to get weird. HA! Also, I'm pretty sure my wife is coming along this time, and we may even bring one of the dogs. My wife may have to ride along with someone else during some parts of the trail, unless I can figure some way to rig up a seatbelt in time for Saturday.

I have plenty of room. We're probably bringing our dog, but that still leaves one seat open. I can leave the wife at home if anyone needs extra seats for hot single chicks....

Me and Erin are in. We need to get a Uwharrie trip going, the dumps is nice and close, but Uwharrie has like 30 mi of trails, and they're a little different each time. Plus, going up or down makes them way different. We could do Fri-Sun, setup/wheel Fri, then wheel a day and paddle a day. Badin lake is really nice, fishing is good, and you can do every kind of watersport.

Ok so my Heep is still waiting on the thermostat to get here, but my wife will be in Raleigh tomorrow so as long as I can ride with someone I'm back in. I'll see you guys at Sonic tomorrow and just hop in which ever Jeep isn't full (I'm looking at you here John... lol)

No sweat. I'll have to get up early and get my new bumper mounted, I pulled the old one off today and gotta get something back on so I have recovery points. (Not for me of course, just in case I gotta pull someone ELSE out! LOL)

Had a pretty good time! A lot of BSing, some swimmin, some eatin and even a bit of wheelin!!

However......my Heep is actin like crap. can't go over 40 mph and is backfirin and cuttin out and shit...........made for a long drive home!!!

I happen to have a 4.0L laying around here... And a Crystler 8.25 rear axle you could use with some cutting and welding. It's a nice axle, almost as strong as a D44! It could all be yours for the low price of $500;):beer:
