Educate yourself by obtaining travel maps and regulations from public agencies, planning for your trip, taking recreation skills classes, and knowing how to use and operate your equipment safely.
Avoid sensitive areas such as meadows, lakeshores, wetlands and streams, unless on designated routes. This protects wildlife habitat and sensitive soils from damage.
Do your part by leaving the area better than you found it, properly disposing of waste, minimizing the use of fire, avoiding the spread of invasive species, restoring degraded areas, and joining a local enthusiast organization.

Give her a fresh one and make her due mud.... Better yet, leave her at home where she belongs, tell her to make you chicken pot pie, and come along for the ride of your life time /images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
Anytime Diego offers a "the ride of your lifetime", I would be cautious.

First off, whatever the ride of my life time is, I'm in. Secondly, what's with you and chicken pot pie? Too much South Park? /images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Sweet. It's gonna be like throwing a hot dog down a hallway.
Pacifier, if I told her that she'd try to stick that pot pie up my a$$! Told her I wouldn't buy her a watch 'cause there's a clock on the stove, and she got mad and chased me around like a rabid weasel! Guess she does'nt appreciate my sense of humor? Still trying to pull off being out all day the 2nd...we'll see. I'll post confirm if I can go tomorrow. Check the "wanted" section on the site...

You definitely need a set. Hey! I have an idea... tell her my entire family is going, wife daughter 1 = 5 years old, daughter 2 = 8 months old. Off course none of them are coming, but at least it will get her in the Jeep.

Korisu And Miljeep You Still Going On Sat The 2nd?
If So Is There Room For One More?
I'm going. Paid too much for the crap on the jeep to let them get dry-rot in the driveway.
korisu56
01-27-2008, 12:04
Hell yeah I'm still going. There's always room for more, and we just got the rest of our camping crap.
Im out ......... gotta go to drill 2nd and 3rd.
Idealy I'd like to go on the trail ride, but the it's scheadual permitting. However if I do go, it's just in a moral support position. The beast isn't ready for any trail rides yet, and the xj is layed up with some problems, and no registration...

we are bringing family, but not camping.
LOL.... :p us too.
Saw this on another board:
so after the dry river run i decided to head over to flag pole to play in the mud pit on the duncan hollow side. wow bad idea! got to the hill heading past the large campsites and was stopped by the ice. got about half way up when i lost traction. thought i was on snow, wrong! all ice. truck started to slide in park. knew i was in trouble at that point. had a nice straight drop off on one side and a embankment on the other. ended up backing it down the hill with 2 tires in the dirt and 2 on ice. was pretty dams scary for a few min. till i got backed down.
so i would highly recommend staying off flag pole till the ice melts. it can get hairy real quick! didn't know i was on ice till it was to late.

korisu56
01-28-2008, 13:22
Well....I dunno. I don't want to be the only one camping. That would suck to have gotten all the crap then not do it. My wife's looking forward to it so much that I may just do it anyway. How many trails are out there?
Well, Im back on for the trail ride. Just was told by platoon leader that I was aproved for split train! So Ill see yall this weekend.:D:eek:
