Does anyone know where I can find BLACK center caps for rock crawler wheels?
You could have the factory ones powder coated.

That's what I'm gonna do to my head light chrome, chrome grill inlays, and a few other pieces... flat black. Once I order my black rims I already planned on rattle-canning the center caps.

I guess you are right, i could just paint over the rust that is showing:D
Better to take all of the chrome off with a sandblaster then prime and paint em. if you just scuff the chrome/rust that you currently have, its still gonna peel and flake.

Try these guys. I've been planning on getting a set myself. They also have black lug nuts.

I got chrome ones with my new rock crawler rims---just rattle canned them gloss black, gloss looked better than flat. didnt even sand them and turned out pretty good.

Look at pictures of Georgia's Jeep post lift, those are Chrome ones Rattle-Canned Gloss Black.

X-2!
BUT, please do the upgrade thing! Rattle can from NAPA!:D
As far as the center caps go, I don't worry with 'em. Just another thing to:
1: get lost
2: get mangled on the trail
3: get stolen!

i am gonna get a set of cheapo's myself just to keep the axle retaining nut from being exposed and possible broken on a ride somwhere
True Jeb, although I have had center caps do more damage to the threads on the axle shaft, than rock rash does to them.
I had one (on my old assed FSJ A 69 waggy) mangle so bad, that it completely flattened the threads on the dodge axle I was running under it! (IDK what model, I was 17 at the time. I think it was a D-90 though) To the point that a Blue Crescent Wrench was needed to remove the nut.
