It is now official and on paper, Ill be moving down to Camp Lejeune in October. Just wondering hows the trails down there and what i have to look forward to, and not to look forward too.

UWHARRIE NATIONAL FORREST - BADIN LAKE AREA Hwy 109 South about 8 miles North of Troy N.C. Many miles of trails, ranging from beginner to expert. Trails are specifically marked for designated use. Maps are available near entrance. Two parking areas, and campsites nearby.

About the only legal place that I remember was Uwharrie....Tellico got closed down. I used to ride on Camp Lejuene at the beach. Not sure if they still allow that or not anymore. The other beaches were getting commercialized and lots of homes so access was getting restricted. That was over 10 years ago. Haven't been back since I retired.
