HEY! Did you start hacking at the HEEP yet? I wouldn't mind helping out. If you do wait until next weekend Drew and I can come by, drink a few beers, and hack away. When I did my front fenders I just used tin snips, pliers, and a hammer. The rears I used a sawzal, pliers, and a hammer. It's too easy.

Drew has my # - just hit me up and let me know what day you guys are going to do it and I'll see if I can at least stop by. I have a dewalt angle grinder, black/decker sawzal, and some other tools... just let me know if you need me to bring anything. I can do it any day this week except for Wed-Thurs nights, because I work.

There's nothin quite like beer and cutting tools.

that's how I spent tonight.... beer and football in the garage with my motorcycle, a sawzal, and grinder :D Worked out pretty well so far. Now for the shitty wiring part though. That can wait until tomorrow.

I have to touch up my fender cuts. I have a half gallon of bed liner if anyone wants to do some lining on the side. I did mine. It's great!

What kind of liner did you use? I did the bucket of my TJ and the floor of my XJ with U-POL Raptor and LOVE the stuff. The outside of the HEEP is just done with Rustoleum rattle cans though. I like the texture for the outside and it makes touch ups too easy.

I have Duplicolor roll on. It's really nice. I did rattle can on my Rig too. Flat black Krylon all over and then rolled the side from the door handle to the bottom. I then took spray on bedliner in the can and did my inside fenders. It made a huge difference. I used pool noodles and great foam for the front fenders after they were cut. Keeps that nasty water from hitting my speakers since the doors come off and I took the rubber grommet thing off where the wires run. Nice and dry. Like I said I have a half gallon left. It took half a gallon to do 3 coats over the entire rig. Even the rear hatch.

Yeah, I have pool noodles ready to install.... just never got around to that. I have my doors off right now. It rained in the HEEP the past two days. :D oops

If you mark out the lines and bring it by the shop on Saturday about 1100 I can cut them with a plasma cutter. I won't be able to stick around and help you shape them up, but it will save you some time. Wilson
