Hey guys, I met Boomer today at the hobby shop on Bolling AFB. He invited me to the forum and said theres a lot of great people here. I look forward to meeting some. Im a SSgt in the Air Force and currently stationed out of
Bolling AFB. I'm a comm guy, Ground Radio/SatCom 2E1x3.

I got my hands on a '67 CJ-5, T-90/D18/dana 30fr and 44r a few weeks ago and the fun has already begun. I will post in another thread how the build is going. sorry though i don't have a dig camera. so pics will no be present... :(

nice, maybe I will see him around. Anyone wanna turn wrenches next Monday? ;) I will be at the Bolling Hobby shop Monday and Tues, all day. if anyone wants to come help out, watch, or make fun of me feel free. I usually enjoy the company.

I would show up, but I am out of the area for a few days around that time. I am usually good to stand around and point and hand vice grips and stuff like that.

Usually busy on Monday nights.
But if your interested, this coming June 28/29 we are doing a wheeling/camping trip down to GWNF in Harrisonburg, Va. Your more than welcome to come just for a day of wheeling or to go ahead and camp with us.

welcome aboard. Hope you can make it out in June, I may or may not be able to make it monday depends on if i get this place I am going to look at and have to start the move process again.

oh dude you werent there, it was chris's buddy with the red rubi. The shocks were fighting us every step of the way and Ryan was Johny on the spot with the vise grips, pullin them out nowhere it was some funny stuff.

My ball joints.....Ryan had vice grips. My lift, Ryan had vice grips. My buddies lift in his orange rubi, Ryan had vice grips.

I would love to but the body is currrently off the frame with major overhauling in the process. unless by some stroke of mechanical genius coupled with amazing time management, i dont think i would make it.

it looks like i will have a passenger seat open. The mrs. is going to be gone to PA for 2 weeks before the 4th. I am going to talk to her tonight about it, but if thats the case your more than welcome to ride with me, or I am sure somebody else will have a passenger seat open
