Good bye to a Brother

Oscar A. Martinez, formerly of C co, 3/116 Infantry, 29 ID (L), died in California five days ago. Oscar was deployed to Afghanistan with B co 3/116 INF in '04-'05, and served as a SAW gunner in my platoon there. His funeral was today, and he is interred at Quantico National Cemetary, Quantico, VA. He was a brother and a fine soldier, and left this life too soon at 24 years of age. Please Keep him, and his family in you thoughts and prayers. See you at the next phase line brother.
