I said I would never pay for radio....I was wrong. I broke down and got a Sirius radio subscription last week. I have to say, I do like it. What hook up is anyone else running. I'm just using the FM modulator. It works ok, a little static here and there.
if you have a stock radio you should be able to find a adapter to plug it into the stock location on the back of the radio.

Ditto. Radio went out, lost my antenna cable and don't remember where I put my cd's. I'm beginning to wonder if I have more wrong with my jeep than I thought.
quadratec sells a fm modulator that installs inline with the antena
I got a year of sat radio free with the purchase of my heep in 06. When it expired, I did not renew it. I should have renewed it.

I personally like the sound of my SW Truxus's. After all, I can't hear a thing inside my Jeep anyway :).

I've got XM, actually 4 of them! I got to the point where I couldn't stand the commercials, DJ's and the same 10 songs, over and over and over...
So I put one in the CJ, one in the F150, one for the house and one for the garage, which I keep portable, for camping, the cabin, whatever.
Never thought I'd pay for radio either, now I hate to be without my sat. radio!!:D

I have an unopened connector in the package still. Lemme pull it up and see what it can be used on. I used one on my Ranger a few years ago to hide all of the connections and tap into the antenna. Bought the second one for my wife and never used it.

SAT radio rocks... Got it free for a year with the JK and now we are spoiled with "No Commercials" so I have no choice but to keep the subscription and add a few more receives. Guy at work mentioned Sirius is buying out XM? Anyone else hear about this?

Thanks for the info... If it does happen, I wonder what the radio channel line up will look like, maybe even more channels???

Have no idea.
I am still holding out on paying for radio...for now.
I got on the wagon too, my lady hooked me up with XM for my Heep for a birthday present, it kicks ass, I love it and never listen to terrestrial radio anymore. I got to hate the same corporate shit that you hear based on focus groups, market demographics and music companies pushing their crap out to the stations, which are not even local at all anymore, just a part of some big ass media company. You never hear anything different! Sorry, gets me a bit emotional...
