So...my rearview mirror fell off today...

Yeah...can you believe it? The heat here in Georgia cooked the little adhesive backing on the baseplate of the rearview mirror and it made swan dive onto the dashboard. Ridiculous.

Anyway...I'm sure 3M makes a product that will nicely restore my rearview mirror to it's former glory. That or superglue. :rolleyes:

Its happened to me here in FL several times, with several different vehicles. Gotta love the heat huh?

Yeah, it's been a pressure-cooker here in Augusta for the past few weeks. And to think I was gettin' away from all that heat by re-deploying. Hah!

What have you used to put it back on? Run-of-the-mill superglue or whatever?

X2, I got pissed and hit my windshield once, didn't break the glass but the friggin mirror and it's base popped off the glass, Miljeep's right, most auto parts shops have the glue kit.
