I never thought I would have to do this for grown men, but here we go...
There are no hatchets to bury, there is nothing to resolve. If you want to wheel, and there is something going on; come on out. If you decide to have a membership drive, stage a coup or throw a knife fight at the mini mall, move on. We don't need you here. We like what we have, and we don't want to change it. Even if you have seen things that were better, worse, little, yellow, different, whatever.... I think the masses have spoken, and we are happy with what we have. If you and your crew can't accept that we do not want to join your club, that is no reason to challenge us to a physical altercation (yes, it has happened with a group posting on this forum.)
IF we see you on the trail, and you are no longer with us, we will not attack you (I was emailed this as well), we will shake your hand and say hello (unless you are the one proposing the fights or an ex-spouse). Do any of us seem the attacking type? I know I am a pretty shady character, but I gave up raping years ago...
I will wrap it up with these points:
1. Let's all get over it. There is no reason to carry hostility over anything, at anytime. Most of us have a difficult job that allows us to carry hostility in definitely. Let's keep it there. We will not fight your crew.
2. Nothing is personal. Sometimes things are said just to see the response. Sometimes things are said just because they need to be. It is not a personal attack.
3. Stop sending me emails about your feelings. I don't care how you feel. I have a wife (that most of you know) and I rarely care how she feels. Why would I care how you feel. Is this a lifetime movie?
4. I like Beer. You like beer. Common ground. Enough said...
Like I said, I didn't think I would have to do this, but I should post some of the emails I have gotten from some of these other groups and dis-interested third parties. I almost walked away from this MJ thing all together. I figured I would try this route. Next step is joining the Ruff riders and slipping into anonymity.

I wrote a huge long winded response filled with wit and humor, but my POS computer froze and I lost it. So I will just hit the highlights... We are not the Bloods and the Crips battling for turf, this is ridiculous. We are all adults, lets either play nice together or play nice with someone else. There is no need for there to be any hostility between anyone. We aren't here to knife fight, make threats, act hard, talk shit, save the world, wear matching jackets or do anything else that doesn't involve drinking beer and getting muddy. We are all here because of two things, we all serve and we all like driving our Jeeps. Lets all either grow up and get along or go our seperate ways and quit BSing.
PS. If anyone wants to knife fight, they should know I'm packing...

I ordered a new steering shaft 2 weeks ago that still hasn't shown up yet, so who knows when I'll be doing that. I also bought a set of safari tube doors, but I don't think I'll have them on any time soon...

where did you get your doors from? I want to pick up a cheap bender and make my own. I have a roof rack for my first TJ ('98) that I sold a long time ago. I was going to use the tubing from that to make them. They will at least make sure the cooler doesn't get tossed out of the HEEP :D
I'm working this weekend, so I can't join in on the fun. My schedule just switched up and is going to be bass ackwards for December to cover for guys going on vacation and deploying.

I MIGHT be able to swing by on SAT morning to give a hand but my Green Jeep will be at the shop getting regeared/locked and hopefully the Gremlin will be killed while it's there, too :D
I've still got a nice set of Besttop spice soft half doors for anyone that wants them.....free!
I don't think I have all of the parts for the rack. It was on it when I bought it. It's just sitting out in the weather by my shed. I'll have to check it out.
If no one wants those doors I'll take them. I wanted to see if I could fit them up to the XJ to use real quick when I have the hard doors off.
*edit* oh and i'm not sure what's going on with the ZJ. I'm still waiting on the guy to get back to me. I'm not holding my breath on that one....

Taking the green jeep into Wilson's? I am debating taking the JK into the dealership. It may be covered because if it is the torque converter, it is a known problem in these, and it could be ok, but who knows?!?! It could get expensive real quick!

Yeah, it was pretty much like that. It snowed off and on, with some rain and freezing rain too. The snow stayed on the leaves a little, but there wasn't much to speak of. Made the trails mondo slick!!
I'd rather have heavy snow than any f'n freezing rain :(

I have wanted some for a while and couldn't find them new for less than 200, so I figured I'd pick those up for a pretty cheap price and then just strip them down and make them the way I want. I have another body project in the works too, but I'll wait until it's for sure to put it on here.
