Totally unrelated, but I didn't feel like starting a new thread... I got a sweet 21 Gal. air vertical compressor today, so if anyone wants/needs to use it let me know. I will also be adding onboard air to the YJ in the near future.

Yeah I remember that, I meant my other new tie rod, the one Tommy welded to the old one. It's a handle from a high lift or something, I haven't the foggiest where it appeared from. It's like it was a ninja or something. A ninja high lift handle.

The handle came from Doug (Green YJ). He doesn't really get on here, so go thank him for the facebook page. He goes on there. It's cold this morning. NOt looking forward to working out in this!

I don't feel like starting a new thread either, but thanks to Jay for the tug home yesterday. A bit jerky here and there, but I think we managed alright. :D I guess I'm going to call Wilson's and some auto parts stores here in a few min and see if I can track down an alternator.

Oh, and Nick - I've watched that video about 10-15 times too. It's f'n great.

Just to let you guys know.... If you're ever stuck and can't get to the parts store give O'Rileys a call. They make runs to businesses Mon-Sat, but made an exception for me today and brought it out to my house. You just have to pay cash when they deliver it. So, I got the new alternator in and tried to clean up the HEEP as best I could with the pressure washer. I had about an inch of sand on the passenger's side floor.

Jay - did you get the MJ all fixed up today?
