Operation XJ Bumper tracking thread

It has come to our attention that there is raffled XJ bumper from Camp MJ (Midwest) 2010 that, due to circumstance, has not completed it's journey to the winner. A mission to move this along is taking shape.

This is where the status of said bumper can be followed as it proceeds on a Midwest tour in the coming weeks.

rsq41 has made contact with HillBillE; arranging pick-up in northeastern Minnesota. Once that is complete, rsq41 will start movement south and coordinate with gearhead1985 for transfer in central Iowa.

09DEC10 said bumper will be transferd from RSQ41 to gearhead at an undisclosed location in Waterloo IA.
09DEC10 said bumper will be stored in an undisclosed location in north east Missouri with a 24 hour watch stationed.
30DEC10 said bumper will be removed from its undisclosed location in preperation for transport and transfer to Ghost00TJ in Waynsville MO.
31DEC10 said bumper will arrive at Waynsville MO for transfer from gearhead to Ghost00TJ.

Sorry I did not catch the Wednesday vs. Thursday note sooner... Thursday re-confirmed...

So one could call that snow... mostly just some leftover ice really... but...

My thanks to everyone for getting this bumper to the winner. I tried to hook up with him a few times, in Des Moines, IA, and once at Ft McCoy, but it never panned out.

Recently been having other problems on the home front (lack of internet at home, and a dead laptop among them) and to be honest, the bumper got pushed to the back burner.

Figuring out how to keep our house and vehicles, and put food on the table, until the wife finds work again, took priority.

I think the worst part, may be having to run those puny tires on the XJ right now. (see pic in rsq41's first post):rolleyes:

Got a guy in my local club working on my laptop, hopefully he can fix it. I can get free Wi-Fi at a few places in town, and will hopefully be online more once my laptop is fixed.

Until then, keep up the good fight!

I want to personely THANK EVERYONE that is helping resovle this delimma. I don't get on the site very often, but I had read all that everyone is doing to help. It is nice to know that there are still people out there willing to help. I do not have any hard feelings against Hillbillie, we just could not get together. THANKS AGAIN TO EVERYONE.
