JK Marine in PA

Another marine reporting for duty. I found the site from a link in a members signature on jeepforum.com

I was data comm primary MOS in the Corps. Spent a year in Oki in that MOS and deployed twice. I then went embassy duty as special duty assignment. I spent a year in karachi, Pakistan with 6 other Marines guarding the US consulate and then went to NATO HQ in Brussels as a reward for making it out of Pakistan with all my parts still attached.

My JK is my first Jeep and I absolutely love it. I've done some mods, but it'll be a while before I can do the hardcore stuff to her.

This weekend, GWNF (down 81 in Harrisonburg VA). It is a camping trip, light wheeling and I think we have a light night ride. This is basically a trip just to get together and have some fun with friends. Check the posts here (http://www.militaryjeepers.com/community/forumdisplay.php?f=104) for more info, but we are linking up just west of DC at like noon on Saturday.

As for events PAJEEPS (web site) sponsors the ALL BREEDS JEEP SHOW, and it is out in York, PA 18-20 July. BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG show. Swap meet, vendors (Quadratec is a big sponsor), great raffle, a mini obstacle course, and over 300 jeeps on display. Lots of fun.

Yeah, actually I helped start MEGA, I was Vice President and Director for a few years... It turned into a political beaucracy and I decided the stress wasn't worth it anymore so I let my membership lapse... I was in Karachi in 95-96 and was in Brussels in 97-98... I think Col. Burgess was the CO at the time when I EAS'd...

Very cool!! Definately gonna check out the site and will start making plans for the Jeep event... Is it going to be a campout event??

Any place by you to put a Jeep on the beach?? I'll be down in LBI this weekend and for the weekend of the 4th...
