I'll be out there as a race official, they are running short on people so me and a few buddies will be there volunteering, can't beat getting in free. I'll be there at 0630, so if you see a guy with a dragon tail wrapped around the right forearm, thats me.

Shannon got DQed for ignoring a flag in the next to last race. They were trying to divert him to a different lane to avoid a crack up if i remember right, but he just blew on by. I was on the back side flagging out past the motorcross area, section 8 I believe it was. Lots of fun out there, couple of broken hubs, few flips, and some crazy air. Sad thing is since I was flagging I didn't take the camera. S'Ok though, got some great pics n' video a couple of weeks ago when they ran.

I didn't know it was all that serious, glad he didn't hurt anybody. Did you respond to the wreck in section..5 or 6 I think it was, when a couple of guys endo'ed and crushed the front of their crawler? Broke the right front rim in half, ovaled out the left, tore the entire stearing and suspension apart. I know we had to call the medics for that one, the spotter was pretty shaken up. The driver said he didn't even know what happened after they connected with the ground the first time.

no the medics on that side went. any time someone wrecks we had to check on them just in case. no one got hurt that day thank god. but it was tons of fun!

Hell yes it was, I loved it. Nice that it was overcast too, unlike the last race. I got fried that day. Dang, I think my forehead just finished peeling a few days ago.
